Assistant Manager, Marketing, Musician & Consumer Audio Marketing

Representative Duties:


  • As part of Shure Japan MCA team, you will play a critical role in the development of our listening marketing Go-to-Market plan and its implementation
  • Responsible for the planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of marketing activities with a good understanding of retail B2C market in Japan
  • In collaboration with Japan sales, product planner, global & regional marketing, local digital marketing, and distributors, you will develop contents and assets necessary for the market
  • Develop and deploy resources and programs across the spectrum of contemporary marketing communication channels, including: implementation of strategic events, media placement, tradeshows,

in-store merchandising, dealer trainings, seasonal promotions, digital campaigns, social media assets and campaigns, and other long-form content

  • Continue to develop your knowledge of MCA and be the ‘go-to’ person
  • Develop good product knowledge and technical understanding of the solutions developed and offered
  • As our internal go to person and expert you will identify relevant trends and developments in the market and convert them to concrete actions
  • Take other duties as assigned



  • 7+ years of experience in retail B2C channel marketing and brand marketing at a reputable FMCG and fast fashion or equivalent brands
  • Passion for music and film entertainment is a plus
  • Strong understanding in e-commerce and hands on experience in digital marketing is a plus
  • Academic degree on preferably Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Business Management (or equivalent relevant qualifications)
  • Strategic thinker paired with a goal-oriented personality and strong technical affinity
  • Fundamental technical marketing skills and possessing a confident and transparent project management skills
  • Demonstrable track-record in the development of sophisticated content-based programs for building brand and commercial success
  • Continuous-learner mindset with a strong understanding of the evolving digital landscape as it relates to digital marketing, content marketing and B2C marketing best practices
  • Handle outsourcing agencies
  • Preferably have experience working in a global company
  • Speak and write fluent English and Japanese
  • Computer literacy – Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Willing to travel if required
