Sales Manager, Retail Sales

 

Representative Duties:

 

  • Measuring and implementing strategic plans to achieve annual sales quotas for each product line.
  • Measures performance using key performance indicators (KPI’s) of channel partners on adding value and customer experience with our brand.
  • Executing a progressive business plan that aligns with brand strategy.
  • Reviews key dealer programs in regards to performance versus goal, identifies areas of concern or success, and proposes action plans to improve performance.
  • Works closely with the Channel Marketing team in the retail vertical to increase meaningful exposure of Shure products and the Shure brand.
  • Works closely with the Channel Marketing Team to guide effective marketing investments in the region, as it relates to customer strategy.
  • Monitors territory profit margins, and plans accordingly to meet or exceed division objectives.
  • Plans and monitors expense budgets according to fiscal year objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sales management/leadership.
  • Working knowledge of the modern retail landscape in assigned territories. Experience with Salesforce or CRM/CSP is a plus.
  • Previous experience assisting with the establishment of company policies and operational objectives.
  • Collaborative and consultative skills that help influence others across several functional areas.
  • Able to implement strategic policies when selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results.
  • Able to interact with senior management or executive levels on matters concerning functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Shows thought leadership. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, must have spoken in English
  • Self-motivated and organized, with excellent follow-up.
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently.
  • Computer Literate – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience with SAP, tools of Sales force.com are considered as an advantage
  • Willing to travel
